PDM is an abbreviation for Product Data Management. PDM is about handling of product information during the products life cycles. PDM systems contain data about the products like documents, geometry, items and structures. The system supports version control and connections between information sets.
COMBINUM has a standard integration with the PDM system Enovia SMARTEAM called COMBINUM SmarTeam Integration. But COMBINUM can easily be integrated with other PDM systems based on the companies need.
The Swedish PDM system YaPdm uses the same framework for object orientation as COMBINUM.
