COMBINUM Structure is the module for management of items and bill of materials. Bill of materials (BOM) and routings are generated automatically by COMBINUM Structure.
Bill of materials and routings can be placed both in the business system and the COMBINUM database. In both cases, these will appear in the COMBINUM Architect, where you can set rules for controlling when items and routings are being selected. You are also able to control attributes such as quantity, length, width, and time spent.
COMBINUM generates bill of materials and routings automatically based on the configuration of the order being planned for production in the business system. In data for selection of items and routings are those options and characteristics, which earlier were specified by COMBINUM's web interface.
The set of rules that the structure configurator uses are boolean expressions as well as numerical formulas. Supported operators includes: and, or, not, (), =, <, >, <=, >=, <>, ?:, +, -, *, /, div, mod. But you're also able to add further operators and special functions based on your demands.
